Daniel Glessner

Dan focuses on corporate and health care issues for hospitals, physician groups, dialysis centers, ancillary health care companies, and other health care entities. He advises on joint ventures, M&A, long-term care, medical staff and licensure issues, employment, general contracting, policies and procedures, real estate transactions, Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payor audits and reimbursement issues, HIPAA, fraud and abuse, non-profit tax-exempt and managed care issues, contract negotiations, patient-related issues, and regulatory compliance concerns including fraud and abuse, Stark physician self-referral issues and the Anti-Kickback Statute, IRS compliance, private inurement/private benefit and various state law issues. He previously was in-house counsel with Akron General Health System.

Dan is certified by the Compliance Certification Board in Healthcare Compliance.
