Chris provides counsel on strategic planning and guidance, health care integration, transactions and collaborative joint ventures, compliance, and the handling of day-to-day legal needs for hospitals, health systems, physicians, physician practice groups, and other health care businesses. His experience includes medical and hospital transactions; strategic planning; compensation models; mergers; board advice and guidance; ownership buy-in and redemption transactions; professional services, lease and employment agreements; third-party payer contracting and negotiation; vendor contracts; compliance matters including The Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Civil Monetary Penalty Law; antitrust laws; HIPAA, HITECH Act; nonprofit and tax exempt issues; compliance programs/audits; medical staff issues, credentialing and disciplinary actions; patient issues; quality and peer review; risk management; and dispute resolution and litigation.

Chris is certified by the Compliance Certification Board in Healthcare Compliance.
