Daniel is a partner and co-founder of Heka, a leading Ecuadorian law firm, where he heads the Labour Practice and co-leads the Corporate Practice.
A graduate of Universidad San Francisco de Quito (2013), he holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Instituto de Empresas (IDE). His experience includes roles as an associate at Bustamante & Bustamante and as a partner at Fernandez Salvador & Abogados.
Daniel provides strategic counsel to both domestic and international clients, advising some of Ecuador’s largest employers on a wide range of labour matters and offering expertise in complex corporate transactions.
In addition to his legal practice, Daniel serves as a professor of the Legal Business Environment course in the Master’s in Commerce and Entrepreneurship program at Universidad de los Hemisferios - IMF Global University. His teaching equips future business leaders with critical insights into navigating the legal complexities of commerce.
Daniel was a Curator and member of the Global Shapers Community at the Quito Hub. He also served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Ecuadorian Chamber of Industries and Production, notably as one of its youngest members. Currently, he holds directorships on the boards of several prominent Ecuadorian companies, further cementing his influence in the corporate landscape.
