Career
Dr. Alberto Brown is a partner at Almeida Guzmán & Asociados, a Quito law firm. Alberto is an attorney with more than 10 years of experience in commercial and antitrust law. He completed his PhD in competition law at the University of Edinburgh (2018 – 2021) and teaches private and competition law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in the city of Quito. Alberto also has an LLM degree in competition and antitrust law from New York University School of Law and an LLB from the University of Navarra (Spain). He is the American Bar Association Antitrust Law Section International Ambassador for the Republic of Ecuador.
