- Frith v DECC – successful limitation trial for British Coal 'post-cut off claim';
- Chandler v Cape PLC – successful (on appeal) against parent company for asbestos exposure at a subsidiary factory
- £900,000 mesothelioma claim: gave rise to an Metropolitan Police investigation.
Catastrophic personal injury claims, include:
- £4.235million for RTA including novel quantum issue on the increased cost of living between South Africa and UK
- £2million + settlement for lower limb amputation including 6 different prosthesis.
- Fatal accidents include claim for young man killed by a falling shop sign (£600,000) and claim against NHS trust for young man asphyxiated by nitrogen oxide.
- £2.5 million for man crushed under JCB
- £2.7million settlement plus PPO for paraplegic victim.
