Career
Daniel Bonner is a Partner, Client Solutions at Level Legal, where he has held nearly every role in the firm since its 2009 launch, from review manager to eDiscovery analyst to director of client solutions. That path gives him a rare operator's view of discovery. He advises on strategy, then stands behind the execution. He has personally managed 250+ complex eDiscovery and review projects, ranging from two-reviewer matters to teams of several hundred.
Daniel concentrates on the highest-stakes corners of discovery: antitrust and Second Requests, government and internal investigations, and bet-the-company litigation. His clients include AmLaw 100 firms, leading boutiques, and corporate legal departments from startups to the Fortune 500. They rely on him for the practical mechanics of discovery, including workflow and process sequencing, TAR and validation protocols, AI workflow design, and cost management on matters where data volume and stakes leave little margin for error. His recent matters share a profile: high volume, real complexity, tight deadlines, and challenging data sources, where workflow strategy and defensibility govern the outcomes.
Much of Daniel's work arrives by referral, from clients and colleagues who treat him as a first call on a discovery problem, whether for an engagement or just advice. He serves on the EDRM 2.0 Advisory Committee, helping modernize the industry's foundational reference model, and earned the IAPP's Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) certification, which gives him a working framework for the data-privacy questions that increasingly intersect with discovery.
