Dan's work for employers includes enforcing post-termination restrictions and preventing employees from using confidential information, as well as advising on strategic employment law issues and reorganisations. His work for senior executives, LLP members, partners and employees includes helping them to negotiate contracts and favourable exit terms. He also advises on bonus and pay disputes, Board and partnership disputes, whistleblowing and discrimination claims.

Dan heads our Canary Wharf office, managing a team of six senior and junior lawyers.

Advising a number of financial services employers investigating misuse of confidential information and breaches of restrictive covenants by departing employees, and taking steps including High Court action to protect their businesses from unlawful competition.

Advising a healthcare company on its investigation into historic allegations of sexual harassment committed by a senior employee, which were raised by an employee during a grievance process.

Acting for a household name PLC in defending allegations of whistle-blowing brought by an overseas employee.

Advising a pharma company on an internal restructure of its HR and recruitment functions.

Representing a senior executive in the insurance business in an equal pay and sex discrimination claim, achieving settlement of the Tribunal case for a sum in excess of £700k.

Advising two in-house lawyers working for a utility company who raised whistle-blowing complaints, achieving settlements of over 1.5 year's pay for each.
