Mr. Herrera has a vast experience in general Corporate Practice, Capital markets, Financing and Derivatives. Mostly, provides permanent legal corporate advisory for well-known enterprises where he handles diverse kind of matters, including day-to-day legal consults and special projects.

Career

Cristóbal Herrera earned his Law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and his LL.M. from the University of Sydney. He is also a Commercial Law Professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, since 2011.

Mr. Herrera was an associate at Baraona Fischer & Cía. (former Fischer y Cía.) for nine years and in 2016 was named partner. Before, he worked as legal counsel at the Finance and Corporate Division of Telefónica Chile.

Mr. Herrera has been appointed as leader for Capital Markets Law, Corporate and M&A, Banking & Finance and Venture Capital practice areas by his peers in Best Lawyers since 2015.
