Cristina has more than 18 years of experience representing clients in a multitude of high-profile international and domestic arbitration cases. Her expertise includes advising and representing multinational companies in arbitration cases under the ICC rules, ICDR rules and the rules of renown arbitration centres in Latin America. Cristina also has substantial expertise in litigation related to arbitration, including the enforcement of awards, annulment actions, and constitutional actions related to arbitration proceedings.

Prior to founding Benavides Mejia Dispute Resolution, Cristina was a partner of the Dispute Resolution practice group at Baker McKenzie in Colombia.
