Cole Meagher

Cole is a partner at Tyr LLP focusing on all forms of contentious intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyright, trade secret, and licensing disputes. He takes a practical, results-oriented approach to high-stakes intellectual property disputes.

Cole acts for clients across a range of industries including those in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, technology, and consumer goods sectors. He is actively involved in all stages of IP disputes, from its commencement through to trial and appeal and has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court, the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal.

Before joining Tyr LLP, Cole was an associate at Blake, Cassels and Graydon LLP, focusing exclusively on intellectual property litigation. With experience working in the pharmaceutical industry and in healthcare advertising before law, Cole advances his clients’ interests applying his subject-matter and industry-specific expertise that are central to pharmaceutical and life sciences intellectual property disputes.
