Claudia defends companies in consumer class actions and complex litigation involving false advertising, unfair competition, product liability, pricing and other claims, including those brought under California consumer protection laws. Her clients include leading technology, automotive, food and beverage, consumer product and health and wellness companies. She also helps established companies and emerging brands assess and mitigate the risks associated with evolving science, innovative products and consumer-facing claims.

Claudia’s practice includes competitive advertising disputes under the Lanham Act and matters before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), National Advertising Division (NAD) and other government enforcement authorities.

She is a longtime leader in pro bono service. She has represented asylum seekers and others in immigration proceedings, including traveling to El Paso, Texas, to work with families separated and detained at the border. Her pro bono work also includes matters involving reproductive rights, gun violence prevention and criminal justice reform.
