Since starting the firm, Chris has successfully represented major energy companies like Chevron, Devon, ConocoPhillips, Apache, BP and Mewbourne in disputes across Texas and the U.S. He has argued before the Texas Supreme Court, multiple federal appellate courts and multiple Texas appellate courts. Chris also leads CLE presentations to firm clients on various topics such as retained acreage clauses, co-tenants without a joint operating agreement, protecting attorney-client privilege in the oil patch, and legal risks related to allocation wells in Texas.
• Chris was selected to be a council member for the Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, an honor that is bestowed on only three Texas practitioners a year.
