MS. CHEN IS A PARTNER IN THE FIRM’S BEIJING AND HONG KONG OFFICES. HER PRACTICE FOCUSES ON CROSS-BORDER CAPITAL MARKETS, FINANCING, M&A, AND FINANCIAL REGULATORY ADVISORY WORK.

Career

Christine worked for nine years at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in its New York, Hong Kong and Beijing offices. Christine also worked as Managing Director and Legal Head of North Asia of JPMorgan Chase, overseeing the legal function of the JPM franchise in China, Korea and Taiwan. Before joining Fangda Partners, Christine was a partner of King & Wood Mallesons, having advised on a number of complex and innovative cross-border debt and equity securities offerings.

Christine won the “Best in Capital Markets” award at the 2017 Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards. Christine was also recommended by “Legal 500” in the PRC capital markets for the years 2015 and 2017.
