Chris Borg

Chris is a partner in Reed Smith’s Energy and Natural Resources Group and co-leads the firm’s Financial Markets and Regulatory team. With 25 years' experience of financial regulatory advisory practice, Chris is a recognised authority in futures and options and commodity trading.

Chris has been named “Lawyer of the Year (Commodities)” in the Best Lawyers™ United Kingdom (2022), as an Acritas Star Lawyer, and in the Legal 500 “Hall of Fame” (Commodities: Derivatives). Earlier in his career he spent a year on secondment at the (then) Financial Services Authority.
