Brand & Reputation Management
Charlotte Harris is co-chair of Brown Rudnick’s Brand & Reputation Management team. She has 25 years of experience representing high-net-worth individuals, celebrities, Members of Parliament, professional athletes, and corporations, adeptly navigating crisis situations both behind the scenes and in the public eye. Her clients are typically subject to intense media attention both in the U.K. and internationally. Issues her clients face include injunctions, defamation, privacy, and harassment, often under urgent circumstances. She frequently liaises with news organizations to remove intrusive photographs, property plans, confidential correspondence and incorrect facts.
Charlotte has appeared before various Parliamentary Select Committees, including the Home Affairs Select Committee and the Joint Select Committee on Privacy and Injunctions and has argued key media standard and privacy law issues as this law has developed substantially over the past two decades. Among other notable successes, Charlotte has represented many claimants in the phone hacking claims since 2007 and gave evidence before the Parliamentary Select Committee as part of the Leveson inquiry.
