Career

Charles Torres is a Vice Chair of our Emerging Growth and Venture Capital Group, and a Practice Group Leader for our Latin American Venture Capital Group. He is a trusted advisor to emerging growth companies, their founders, investors and directors. As outside general counsel, he works with a diverse range of US and international companies, but particularly those focused on Artificial Intelligence, consumer, media and gaming, financial services, enterprise software and healthcare.

Charles regularly counsels leading venture capital funds, corporate VCs and family offices with respect to their portfolio investments and dispositions.

He brings a wealth of experience in the New York venture community, as counsel to dozens of exited founders and venture investors and as a long-time passionate contributor to the ecosystem.
