Robert represents debtors, creditors and boards of directors in all aspects of bankruptcy and restructurings. He advises companies and buyers in distressed M&A. Robert also litigates in bankruptcy cases including defending boards against claims for breach of fiduciary duty.
Career
Robert has been regularly recognized among the top restructure professionals in the US by Euromoney, Turnarounds & Workouts and others. He was a member of the ABA Subcommittee that developed the Model Bankruptcy Purchase Agreement. Robert developed and for 20 years taught a case study on prepackaged bankruptcies at Harvard Business School, and has also taught bankruptcy related classes at the University of Michigan and UCLA Law Schools and the MIT Sloane School.
