Chara handles a wide range of commercial law issues, focusing on IP, IT and privacy law, to the benefit of international clients from a range of industry sectors including advisory and disputes work as well as drafting and negotiating transaction documents.

Chara has also extensive litigation experience in employment matters, including cases arising from claims for alleged wrongful termination of employment, violation of employment benefits provisions, overtime etc. She has advised clients in drafting employment contracts and in negotiating managers' termination contracts. For over a decade, she advises clients in negotiations with employees' representatives on the implementation of new policies as well as regarding employees' notifications upon transfer of undertakings.

Her highlight success in litigation practice of this year is the first case ever litigated in Greece in relation to an internet platform’s lack of liability for video content uploaded by users. For the first time a collecting society organization turned both against the infringer and the platform and the Court rejected the claim in its entirety against the platform.

Chara is also admitted to practice in New York.
