Practice Areas
Catherine has specialised in employment, discrimination, equality and partnership law since 2001. She spent the first 12 years of her career as a solicitor in international commercial firms in the City of London, advising large organisations such as banks, financial institutions and multinationals. Since 2011, when she requalified as a barrister, she has advised and represented a wide variety of organisations and individuals on all workplace issues, including partner and director disputes, and on equality issues in education and services. She has particular expertise in regulated sectors such as financial and professional services and charities.
Career
Catherine trained and qualified as a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, specialising in employment, pensions and share schemes law on qualification. She later joined Nabarro LLP (now part of CMS) and was promoted to partner in 2008. In 2011 Catherine requalified as a barrister and joined leading set Cloisters.
Professional Memberships
Catherine is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and sits on the ELA's Training Committee. She is also a member of the Employment Law Bar Association, the Association of Partnership Practitioners and the Industrial Law Society.
