Florence is the founder of Bellevue Law and a leading specialist in workplace law and commercial disputes. She advises senior executives, partners and founders, as well as fast-growth companies, established businesses and professional services firms – including many law firms and fellow lawyers who trust her with their most complex employment and partnership matters.

Her practice spans both contentious and strategic advisory work. Florence regularly supports senior women in the financial and professional services sectors facing issues such as pregnancy and maternity discrimination, sexual harassment, health-related challenges, and disability and neurodiversity discrimination. Her deep understanding of the personal and professional impact of these cases informs the care and clarity with which she advises.

Alongside individual clients, Florence supports businesses and their founders with partnership and shareholder disputes, as well as wider workplace risk and resolution strategies. Florence founded Bellevue Law in 2014 to create a different kind of law firm – one rooted in flexibility, integrity and purpose. She led the firm’s certification as a B Corp, reflecting her commitment to responsible business practices and a positive workplace culture.

She trained at Freshfields, qualified in 2000, and later joined Debevoise & Plimpton. Before founding Bellevue Law, she spent five years teaching at law school.
