On the private sector side, she has acted for technology suppliers and for customers in a wide range of industry sectors, including energy, transport and infrastructure, financial services, and retail. Catherine is also an intellectual property specialist with over 30 years' experience advising on IP, IT, data, information and security issues for public and private sector clients. She has negotiated a wide range of commercial agreements for technology, retail, energy transport and infrastructure, healthcare and media clients including research and development agreements, franchise agreements, licenses, distribution and supply and joint venture agreements. She also advises on issues arising in relation to the exploitation of intellectual property rights covering patent, know-how, trade marks, design and copyright and data protection.
