Casie Collignon

Casie Collignon is a litigator at the forefront of privacy class action defense. Class actions in this area are particularly challenging because damages are often pursued based on statutory penalties with no individual damage requirements. Casie views class action defense from a business perspective first and a litigation perspective second in order to determine the most efficient means to attain the results clients desire. Not afraid to employ an aggressive legal strategy when the situation warrants it, she is also open to cooperation between the parties when clients will benefit.

Casie was named a BTI Client Service All-Star in 2022, a 2021 “Top Litigator” by Law Week Colorado and a 2020 Cybersecurity and Privacy MVP by Law 360. In addition, she has been ranked in Chambers USA: Privacy and Data Security: Litigation, Nationwide (2023 to 2024) and in The Legal 500 United States Media, Technology and Telecoms: Cyber Law (including data privacy and data protection) (2023 to 2024). She is also the Digital Assets and Data Management Leader in BakerHostetler's Denver office.
