Caroline Courtney

Caroline is a Partner in Linklaters’ corporate and structured lending team based in London, with a focus on asset finance. Caroline has extensive experience advising corporates, financial institutions and financial sponsors on complex cross-border financing transactions. She has a breadth of knowledge across a spectrum of debt finance products including across the aviation and maritime industries, investment grade lending, acquisition finance, off balance sheet structures, portfolio sales and distressed lending. She is especially highly regarded for her expertise in event driven financing as well as her work in the LNG sector.

In 2017, Caroline completed an eight-month secondment to the structuring team within an international bank where she was supporting the direct lending, credit solutions and the special situations TIE teams. She worked in a leading Irish law firm before joining Linklaters in 2013.
