As the firm’s Intellectual Property, Media and Technology global Practice Group Leader, Burkhart Goebel helps clients navigate the challenges of complex cross-border and multiple jurisdiction intellectual property (IP) litigation. In his 25 years of experience, he has pleaded or acted as instructing counsel before senior courts in almost every jurisdiction in Europe, leading some of the largest multiple jurisdiction disputes in the history of IP litigation. Burkhart has also negotiated hundreds of licence agreements and other IP transactions and, rare among IP practitioners, has particular expertise in IP-related public international law.
