Bryant concentrates his practice on maritime transactions and litigation matters with an emphasis on regulated aspects of the industry. He has far-reaching experience representing shipowners and operators, banks and financing institutions, marine terminal operators, and overland linehaul operators.

Bryant provides counsel across all aspects of the maritime and logistics enterprise, including vessel financing and purchase, strategic mergers and acquisitions, MARPOL and environmental compliance, Jones Act and citizenship restrictions, charter formation and disputes, vessel casualties, sanctions, legislative strategy, Shipping Act compliance, government contracting, and linehaul motor carriage. He has extensive experience representing shipowners and operators, terminals, port authorities, shippers/cargo interests, financial institutions, and other transportation industry clients before the Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration, Coast Guard, Federal Maritime Commission, Government Accountability Office, Federal Courts, Congress, Customs Service, Transportation Command, Military Sealift Command, Office of Foreign Assets Control, and Bureau of Industry and Security.
