Britta Grauke is the Co-Managing Partner of Weil’s German offices and heads the German Litigation practice, which she has helped to build since joining Weil, Gotshal & Manges in 2002. Applying her strong litigation background, Britta advises and represents both borrowers and lenders in distressed situations, restructuring transactions and insolvencies, given the liability driven German restructuring system. In addition, she has vast experience in banking and insolvency related litigation, in which she has obtained several landmark rulings at the German Federal Supreme Court. Furthermore, she represents major clients in corporate law and capital markets disputes as well as arbitration resulting from mergers & acquisitions. As part of the corporate litigation practice, she has a focus on corporate governance issues, crisis management and recovery of assets.
