Brian is a member of Lewis Roca's Litigation Practice Group where his practice focuses primarily on the representation of corporate clients in a wide variety of commercial and insurance-related disputes, including representation in commercial litigation, D&O, breach of contract, class actions, insurance coverage, and bad faith actions. He previously served as Lewis Roca's Denver Office Managing Partner.
In addition, Brian has served as receiver and counsel to the Colorado Commissioner of Insurance with respect to regulatory issues and in connection with troubled insurance companies. Brian counsels and represents insurance carriers in regulatory actions, including financial and market conduct exams. He also serves as counsel to state life and health insurance guaranty associations in multistate insurance company insolvencies, including representation in ancillary litigation, and the sale and acquisition of insurance-related business.
