Brian Spano is a ‎member of Womble Bond Dickinson's Litigation Practice Group, where his practice focuses ‎primarily on the representation of corporate clients in a wide variety of ‎commercial and insurance-related disputes, including representation in ‎commercial litigation, D&O, breach of contract, class actions, insurance coverage, and ‎bad faith actions.‎ He previously served as receiver and counsel to the Colorado Commissioner of Insurance regarding regulatory issues and troubled insurance companies. Brian counsels and ‎represents insurance carriers in regulatory actions, including financial and ‎market conduct exams. Brian also serves as counsel to state life and health insurance guaranty associations in multistate insurance company insolvencies, including representation in ancillary litigation and the sale and acquisition of insurance-related business.‎
