Career

Brian Barakat is Board Certified Business Litigator. He began his career as a prosecutor for Miami-Dade County. While there, Mr. Barakat worked in the Economic Crimes Division of the Special Prosecution Section. His experience investigating financial fraud gives him a unique perspective on business disputes. Mr. Barakat has tried hundreds of cases to verdict.

Along with his partner Giacomo Bossa, Mr. Barakat believes in the power of teaching, training, and staying current with trial law. He is lauded for his recruitment and retention of culturally diverse attorneys who serve their business clients in a variety of expert capacities. Building on his own expertise in corporate, labor, and financial fraud, Mr. Barakat conducts classes and trainings on:
