Major Development Projects - Brett is consistently involved in major development projects for a number of clubs involving commercial, retail uses, aged care, child care, accommodation, hotel developments, residential developments and franchises. Some of Brett’s premier projects include: · Revesby Workers Club – Acted on $150 million mixed-use development. · Rooty Hill RSL Club – Acted on various diversification projects. · New Brighton Golf Club – Acted on a joint venture with Mirvac for more than 400 homes. · Mount Pritchard & District Community Club Ltd – Acted on first Club De-amalgamation in NSW from Panthers of 2 Clubs.
Amalgamations between registered clubs - Successfully concluding a large number of amalgamations between various registered clubs. Such amalgamations have included major New South Wales Rugby League (NRL) clubs and other major clubs such as Castle Hill RSL Club, Western Suburbs Leagues Club and most recently City Tatts amalgamation with the Catholic Club.
Drafting Constitutions for peak industry associations - Drafting the constitutions for a number of peak industry associations including Golf NSW, Leagues Clubs Australia and the RSL and Services Clubs Association.
Dee Why RSL Club - Successfully defending Dee Why RSL Club which was the subject of a major disciplinary investigation into the conduct of gambling activities.
Sydney Roosters - Advising top National Rugby League team Sydney Roosters on a partnership deal that will see the club play home games and finals at the Allianz Sydney Football Stadium for at least the next 25 years when it opened in 2022.
Easts Group - Advising Easts Group on all legal aspects of its successful $80 million project to deliver a new clubhouse and senior living development at Waverley Bowling Club culminating in a Joint Venture Project with developer Mirvac.
