Brendan Peters, a partner in the firm's Litigation practice, focuses on construction litigation, construction transactions, real estate litigation and commercial litigation. Brendan has over 25 years of combined experience in legal and construction fields, and represents public and private owners, architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers in negotiating and drafting complex construction and design contracts and in litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Before becoming an attorney, Brendan was an architect involved with all phases of the design and construction of complex commercial, civic, and residential projects. Brendan is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a licensed architect. Brendan is also a Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Construction Documents Technologist (CDT), a U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP), and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Since 2006, Brendan has taught Construction Law as an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law.
