Børge A. Grøttjord advises lenders, borrowers and investors on a widespread range of debt transactions, insolvency and debt restructurings. His clients have consisted of commercial banks, investment banks, hedgefunds, private equity funds, corporate borrowers and Norwegian governmental entities. He has also advised financial institutions in relation to their funding programmes and regulatory framework.
He has extensive experience from working with project finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, direct loans, real estate finance, asset finance, public private partnerships and high yield bonds. He has also been working with EMTN-Programmes and financial derivatives (ISDA).
In addition to his legal practice Børge A. Grøttjord advises pro-bono on global micro finance, specifically in the regions of Asia and North Africa and is a keen believer in that the availability of microfinance and financial inclusion is necessary to improve the lives of many people and families living in poverty around the world.
