Before joining Beijing Lung Tin Law Firm in 2019, Kyle Xu had been engaged in intellectual property trials for 10 years successively in Beijing First Intermediate People's Court and Beijing Intellectual Property Court. Kyle heard more than 1,000 IP-related cases including those involving patent, trademark, copyright and unfair competition. The patent case of Apple Inc. v. Patent Reexamination Board which was tried by Kyle was elected as one of “China's Top 10 Innovative Intellectual Property Cases in 2014”. Kyle has also handled a series of difficult and complex cases involving pharmaceutical patents, standard essential patents, well-known trademark, internet related unfair competition etc. which brought him deep understanding on the judicial system of China.
At present, Kyle has provided professional legal services to domestic and foreign enterprises such as Qualcomm, Corning, P&G, LG New Energy, Tencent, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, CIMC etc.
