Major recent transactions include advising: Casino on the €1.3bn sale of Hypermarkets and Supermarkets to Auchan and Intermarché, Avril on (i) the takeover operations of Metex and (ii) the acquisition of Axereal’s animal nutrition activities, Monoprix on the sale of Sarenza to Groupe Beaumanoir, Séché Environnement on the acquisition of Veolia’s industrial water treatment services business in France.

Career

Benoit Marpeau practiced in a first-hand law firm in Paris and Tokyo of which he became Partner in 2013 before joining Peltier Juvigny Marpeau & Associés in 2015.

He is admitted to the Paris Bar and is a graduate of the University of Paris II (Master 2 in business and law and tax).

Professional Memberships

He is an expert at the Club des Juristes and a lecturer at Paris II, at Sciences Po and at Bordeaux.
