Benjamin is a partner in the Corporate practice group, leading the Structured Finance practice, representing a large number of Issuers, managers, arrangers and investors in the CLO/structured finance space. He was recognised in 2018 Who's Who Legal: Capital Markets directory for Structured Finance, and ranked as 'highly regarded' in IFLR1000 2019. He routinely advises clients on bespoke finance structures and has a deep fund finance practice. He's one of the most highly regarded legal minds in the finance space. Other experience includes corporate restructuring, public equity offerings together with both public and private M&As and their related financing.

Career

Before joining Appleby in 2011, Benjamin practised in London with Clifford Chance LLP and, subsequently, as a senior associate at Mayer Brown International LLP where he worked primarily on securitisation, representing issuers and underwriters in both public and private offerings of securities backed by a variety of asset classes, including commercial and residential mortgages, auto loans, auto leases and trade receivables.
