Benjamin Stein

Benjamin Stein focuses on advertising, promotions, intellectual-property, and privacy matters. He works with clients - many household names and leaders in their respective markets - on the development, implementation, and administration of their advertising and marketing campaigns, as well as on traditional and emerging issues related to intellectual property and media. Ben advises regularly on sweepstakes and contests, loyalty programs, review of ad assets and claims substantiation, automatic renewal compliance for subscription programs, engagement of influencers, email and text marketing compliance, compliance with gift card laws, right of publicity, trademark, and copyright issues, and negotiating agreements in a wide variety of other transactions. He holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA from the University of Michigan.
