Ben Jackson is a litigation and trial attorney who defends corporations, institutional clients and insurance companies in catastrophic personal injury and death cases, primarily including products liability, toxic tort and medical injury. He has worked as lead trial counsel on numerous catastrophic injury cases and regularly serves as local counsel assisting out-of-state defense attorneys in Arkansas litigation. Ben is recognized as one of JD Supra Readers' Choice Top Authors in Products Liability and serves on Mitchell Williams' Board of Directors.
Experience
-Represents multiple national, regional and Arkansas companies as both lead counsel and local counsel on matters of products liability, mass tort and toxic tort.
-Advises health care providers and hospitals throughout Arkansas on risk management strategies.
-Counsels businesses, financial institutions and health care providers in matters of data security and cyber liability defense litigation.
-Represents national, regional and local companies in litigation including contract disputes, privilege revocation and peer review suits, and other corporate disputes.

-Served as lead attorney on behalf of hospital defendant in medical malpractice action, obtaining a defense verdict in Kelly Persons, as Administrator of the Estate of Billy Persons and Sue Persons v. Jefferson Hospital Association, et al., Jefferson County Circuit Court, Arkansas, Case No. CV-2010-405-2.
-Successfully secured unanimous defense verdict on behalf of dental provider and corporation in malpractice action in Barbara Ausbrooks v. Ricky Perry, DDS et. al. Saline County Circuit Court, Arkansas, Case No. 63CV-11-780.
-Successfully obtained unanimous defense verdict for physician defendant in civil rights and medical malpractice action in Michael Burks v. Dr. Oboma Asemota, et al., United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, Case No. 5:10-cv-358.
-Successfully secured unanimous defense verdict for hospital defendant in negligence action in Blanca Contreras v. Johnson Regional Medical Center, Johnson County Circuit Court, Arkansas, Case No. CV-2010-148.
-Serving as lead attorney, obtained a voluntary dismissal by plaintiff during trial for physician defendant in civil rights action in Ronal O’Neal v. Estate of Dr. James Blackmon, et al. in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, Case No. 5:10-CV-153.
