Ben Rose

Ben Rose is an asset and project finance lawyer based in Singapore. He is a partner and is head of shipping and offshore in Asia. He focuses on offshore oil and gas and shipping finance transactions.

Ben has over 20 years' experience in the energy/offshore and asset/transportation sectors, representing financial institutions, lessors, shipping/energy companies and government agencies in connection with all types of secured lending, capital raising, leasing, multi-jurisdictional sale and purchase transactions and newbuilding finance. He has advised on a wide range of projects including limited recourse project financings in the offshore oil and gas and shipping sectors, including for LNG vessels, FPSOs, FSOs, FSRUs and drilling/production rigs. Ben has extensive experience in syndicated and structured debt financing, cross-border leasing, off-balance sheet structures, Islamic financing, export credit financing and receivables financing in the cruise sector.
