Bart is a recognised employment law specialist in the broadest sense of the word and mainly conducts an employer's practice. He deals with (collective) reorganisations, individual dismissals, works council matters (advice and consent processes), remuneration of executives (Short Term Incentives en Long Term Incentives, Application of the 30% rule), Standardisation Act for Top Incomes in the public sector (WNT) and employment law issues in mergers and acquisitions (transfer of undertaking).
Bart worked for Band 1 law firm Stibbe for many years (1996-2005). In 2005 he joined Vestius.
Former Chairman of the Employers Lawyers Association for Amsterdam (VAAA). Member of the specialist Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN), Labour Law Association (VvA) and the European Employment Law Association (EELA).
