Founding and Managing Partner of Thiam & Associés, Baba Hady Thiam’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, with strength in the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors. He advises sponsors, governments and financial institutions on the structuring, development and financing of major projects, including hydropower, solar energy and mining infrastructure, as well as on M&A and corporate restructurings.

Career

Baba Hady Thiam is dual-qualified, admitted to the Guinean Bar and the Paris Bar, and began his career at Gide Loyrette Nouel in Paris before joining Dechert LLP.

He holds degrees from the University of Bordeaux Montesquieu IV, Paris II Panthéon-Assas, Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a master’s in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
