Autumn Nero has dedicated nearly two decades to representing companies in their most significant intellectual property disputes. She manages high-stakes, complex litigation and claims in federal courts throughout the country. Her clients include many of the world’s largest pharmaceutical, consumer products, telecommunications, and sporting goods companies, as well as entertainment and nonprofit organizations. While she focusses on patent litigation, she also has extensive experience in antitrust, trademark, trade secret, and copyright actions; breach of contract and licensing disputes; privacy and right to publicity suits; and breach of fiduciary duty claims.
Autumn has developed particular depth in pharmaceutical patent and regulatory litigation under the Hatch-Waxman Act. She represents some of the largest generic pharmaceutical companies in their most significant pharmaceutical patent cases. She is also well-versed in the area of patent damages and obtained an 80% patent royalty award following a two-week jury trial.
Autumn’s pro bono practice has included, among other things, civil rights claims brought on behalf of prisoners and a decade-long death penalty representation. In her spare time, she volunteers with a local animal rescue group as a cat and dog foster.
