Ashok K. Lalwani focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and corporate advisory matters. He represents multinational corporations, financial institutions, and state-owned entities across Asia-Pacific and South Asia, with particular emphasis on cross-border transactions involving India, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. Ashok advises clients in industries including energy, real estate, hospitality, retail, technology, and financial services, bringing over three decades of experience in international transactional work.

Ashok handles complex public and private M&A transactions, including asset sales, corporate restructurings, and joint ventures. He regularly counsels investment banks, commercial banks, and issuers on initial public offerings, bond offerings, and other capital markets transactions across multiple jurisdictions. His capital markets practice encompasses equity and debt offerings, including sovereign bonds, real estate investment trusts, and American Depository Receipt programs. Ashok provides guidance on U.S. federal securities law compliance for international offerings and advises on regulatory matters affecting cross-border transactions.
