Asbjørn is highly specialized in the state aid rules and the competition rules in Denmark and the EU. Asbjørn has extensive experience with all aspects of these rules and with a number of connected areas of law such as the rules on damages and the criminal justice rules.
Asbjørn has particularly extensive experience with the competition law rules for dominant undertakings, where Asbjørn’s work has been highly focused on court cases concerning the most complex legal and economic issues in the area for a number of years.
Asbjørn has experience from several of the most recognized law firms within EU and competition law in Denmark. Asbjørn has worked as an attorney at both Plesner and Bech-Bruun, both of which have been rated as top tier in Denmark by leading international ratings agencies. Asbjørn has also worked in the legal service of Ørsted (formerly DONG Energy), one of Denmark’s largest and most regulated companies. Asbjørn advised Ørsted on e.g. competition law matters in connection with Ørsted’s highly publicized wind farm projects.
