Arvid works exclusively with environmental and energy law and has extensive experience in permit processes, mostly regarding hydro power, wind power, CHP plants, mining operations, wood pulp plants, lumber etc., and assisting in environmental issues related to commercial transactions, primarily regarding environmental due diligence.
Arvid has a long background working with environmental law and is a leading expert in water law with focus on hydro power and environmental quality standards. Arvid was involved in the preparation of the legislation regarding reconsideration of hydropower and the application of environmental quality standards for water, which entered into force on 1 January 2019, by assisting a number of stakeholders in negotiations with the Ministry of the Environment.
Arvid is a very experienced lecturer and gives lectures on environmental quality standards and water operations. Arvid is also a member of the Swedenergy legal group and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise’s environmental law group.
