Professor and lecturer at the School of Labour Law and Social Policy at Jagiellonian University. A recipient of scholarships from numerous foreign universities. An experienced trainer and presenter, as well as a lecturer and examiner for lawyer traineeships. Former Presiding Judge.

Publications

Editor of one of the most respected commentaries on the Polish Labour Code. Author of commentaries on the Act on the Employment of Temporary Workers and the Act on Employee Councils.

Work Highlights

Prof. Sobczyk has been involved in numerous large-scale and high-impact projects concerning groups of several thousand employees, including negotiations on social packages, collective labour agreements, employee regulations, remuneration, transfers of work establishments, group redundancies, and outsourcing. In his ongoing legal practice, he provides advisory services to businesses on employment-related matters and authors legal opinions on particularly complex legal issues.
