Career
Arabella di Iorio is the principal at Agon Litigation. She began her career at the English Chancery Bar, before working for Linklaters in London, and Appleby in Bermuda. Prior to co-founding Agon Litigation, she headed the BVI litigation and trusts practices at Maples and Calder for 11 years, for 6 of which she was also the managing partner of their BVI office.
Arabella has helped clients resolve complex offshore disputes for over 20 years and frequently acts as an expert witness on BVI law. She has maintained a diverse international commercial litigation practice which includes trusts and probate disputes, shareholder and joint venture disputes, restructuring and insolvency. Arabella possesses considerable arbitration experience and has presided over several international and domestic disputes governed by various arbitration rules. She has extensive advocacy experience, appearing at all levels of the Territory's Courts and the Privy Council. She is fluent in Italian.
