Anuwat oversees IAS Advisory's litigation, dispute resolution and arbitration department and leads several of the firm's other legal practices, including setting up compliance measures with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), legal entity and tax structuring, and business restructuring and reorganisation.
In practice for more than 20 years, he also advises on M&A and commercial transactions and on fundraising, family business and estate planning, and human resources legal management and taxation.
In addition to his "Ranked Lawyer" status here at Chambers & Partners, Anuwat is a Legal 500 "Recommended Lawyer” and highlighted as a "Litigation Star" in the Thai legal space by Benchmark Litigation, an international publication that lists the world’s top litigation firms and lawyers. He is also on Asia Business Law Journal's "A-List of Top Lawyers in Thailand."
Anuwat is a member of the Law Society of Thailand and the Thai Bar Association, as well as a panellist at both the Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI) and the Thai Arbitration Center (THAC). He is also an active member of the Association of Family Business Entrepreneurs (AFBE).
He is an advisory board member of the Faculty of Law, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC), which is Thailand's oldest private higher education establishment, and a visiting lecturer at various other universities.
Anuwat is a respected public speaker, special lecturer at leading universities, and a regular guest on Thai PBS, Thailand's national public broadcaster, where he shares expert insights on key legal topics relevant to business operations.
