Career

Founding partner of Murta Goyanes Advogados, Antonio Murta Filho has more then 30 years of experience in Intelectual Property. Often quoted in international guides, such as Chambers Global and WTR 1000, Murta is also a State Attorney of Rio de Janeiro and a member of the AIPPI, of the “Unfair Competition Committee" (International Trademark Association's – INTA), of the "Unfair Competition Team" of Marques, member of the Board of Directors  of the Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property (ABPI), and fouding member of Jovens Advogados de Língua Portuguesa (JALP).

Professor of the Intellectual Property Law Postgraduate Program at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (from 1999 to 2009);

Associate Professor in Commercial Law and Intellectual Property Law at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro since (from 1993 to 2009).
