Practice Areas

Tony counsels a broad range of clients in the construction industry including public and private owners, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. He manages major construction disputes for plaintiffs and defendants on projects involving power plants, bridges, hotels, high-rise buildings, prisons, wastewater treatment plants, parking garages, assisted living facilities, and other commercial, educational, and industrial structures. Tony provides tailored advice relating to payment disputes, delay and disruption claims, payment and performance bonds, prompt payment statutes, and mechanics’ liens.

Career

Tony tries construction cases in federal and state courts and in arbitral forums throughout the country. He serves as an arbitrator on the construction and commercial panels of the American Arbitration Association’s Roster of Neutrals. Tony is active in numerous construction trade associations, providing counsel and participating in chapter committees. He regularly presents construction law seminars and webinars and authors articles on emerging construction laws and trends.
