Practice Areas

Anna is a commercial and corporate lawyer with over 18 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. She advises IOCs, NOCs, funds and trading houses on cross-border transactions and projects in the E&P, refining and trading sectors in the MEA region.

Anna’s practice is broadly split between:

- corporate advisory including joint ventures (incorporated and unincorporated (JOAs)), corporate and asset acquisitions and divestments, structuring (and restructuring) of equity and hybrid investments, including offtake and pre-pay.

Anna is a contributing author to the “Oil & Gas Contracts Principles and Practice”, Sweet & Maxwell, 3rd Edition 2022 on the subject of Acquisitions and Divestments in the Upstream Sector”.arrangements;

- offshore E&P developments, including engagement with host governments, negotiation of production sharing contracts (PSCs), JV structuring, crude/gas lifting, sales and transportation, providing full project cycle commercial support through to final investment decision (FID) and beyond; and

- sale, supply and offtake contracts for crude, natural gas, refined products and other natural resources (e.g metals); LNG MSPAs and long term supply arrangements.
