Mr. McFadden is an arbitrator, mediator, and advocate with over twenty-five years’ experience representing clients in a variety of industries on major industrial, infrastructure and commercial projects throughout the U.S. and around the world, ranging in value from US$10 million to more than US$10 billion. Some examples include sports stadiums, mixed-use commercial developments, hotels, apartments, petrochemical facilities, liquefied natural gas (LNG) export and import terminals, pipelines, fossil-fuel and solar power plants, and water projects. Throughout his career, Mr. McFadden has taken a business-minded approach and leveraged his ability to understand people and their motivations to get the deal done or the conflict resolved, and he continues to bring that experience and mindset to his practice today.
As an arbitrator and a mediator, Mr. McFadden is on the construction and commercial arbitration panels of the American Arbitration Association, and he is a registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.
Mr. McFadden holds an A.B. and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Duke University. After graduating, Mr. McFadden clerked for the Honorable Sharon Lovelace Blackburn on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
